What is water Baptism?
And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. - Galatians 3:27 (NLT)
  •  A public declaration of faith
  • An outward expression of what God has done in us when we accepted Christ
  • An identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ
  • A symbol of cleansing from sin
  • Not a prerequisite for salvation or baptism in the Holy Spirit but an act of obedience that follows salvation

Why are we Baptized?
•    To obey God’s command
•    To follow Jesus who modeled baptism 
•    To participate in an important and long-standing practice of the Christian Church

Who can get Baptized?
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[a] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. - Matthew 28:19 (NLT)

When do we get Baptized?
And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise." - John 23:43 (NLT)

  • As soon as possible after salvation

  • It is never too late. Believers can be baptized at any stage of their journey.
